Kathak (कथक) is an Indian classical dance form, popular in North India, that combines storytelling with dance, song, and music. Kathakar (कथाकार) - the dancer who presents and narrates the story has been well-versed in all three aspects dancing, singing, and music with an emphasis on Taal (time cycle).

Saberi Misra, granddaughter of Pt. Ramgopal Misra & daughter of Pt. Rajkumar Misra, youngest exponent of illustrious Jaipur Gharana of Kathak.  Performing in Pt. Ramgopal Festival, The Bhavan, London.
